Always fantastic. Came here as a kid, been visiting ever since! This was the place to get a cone on... the way home from the local middle school with allowance, and the place to treat that special someone. The flavors change so it is always exciting for a stop by! I recommend this place to everyone! I have always gone to this amazing ice cream shop! I remember my first time going I was grossed out... and exiting for my “motor oil” ice cream because it had such a fun name and was so good! I remember they used to make the waffle cones in front of you and when you got a French and warm one it was truest magical. Ok first of all want to say a couple of things, I was there on the grand opening, the people there... are really friendly and awesome , the workers are amazing , the ice cream and especially their unique signature combination of ice cream like their phenomenal motor oil is just amazing. Pricy yes, but overall quality and experience will not be failed, but that's just my experience. This is a one of kind opportunity to go and you'll love it.And a last thing there was one worker that stood out to me , that I simply loved his overall attitude , his charm and charisma when the event was going on, don't know his name, but loved the energy. I was so glad I saw the van on our way to Pismo for an overnight anniversary trip with our kids.... Right when I saw ice cream lab I knew I would need to find this place to try it. We took our kids there during our vacation this past weekend and the line was out the door, but the... wait was SO worth it! The ice cream was so creamy and delicious. The kids loved pushing the buttons on the speakers throughout the wait, so it went by fast and they enjoyed the experience! Will come back next time we're in SLO!read more
