Tours include a little history of ice cream, background on the company, ice cream making information and an opportunity to taste several of our most popular flavors. A surprise visit from a VIP will add to your memorable visit. Wrap up your tour shopping in our well-stocked merchandise “store” for t-shirts, key chains, scoops and many other fun, Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab goodies.

What Happens During a Creamery Tour?

  • Discuss the Ingredients in Ice Cream
  • Explain the Science of Making Ice Cream
  • See our Lab Technicians at work
  • Sample Doc’s ice cream and fudge
  • Enjoy Ice Cream and ask Questions of the Doc

How Long is a Creamery Tour?

Plan for a full hour. The instructional portion of the tour is about 45 minutes, followed by enjoying ice cream and individual questions with the Doc for another 10-15 minutes.

How Many Can be Accommodated?

Creamery Group Tours can accommodate between 20 and 30 guests.  For groups larger than 30, we can schedule back-to-back tours.  For groups smaller than 10 guests, tours are available every Wednesday at 3 pm.  Tours are available by appointment only. Please click here to purchase your tickets!

What is the Cost?

The fee is $6.00/guest (which includes Chaperones). Public and Private School groups and Licensed Home School groups are eligible for a subsidized Lab Tour at $5.00/guest.

When Can a Creamery Tour be Booked?

For groups smaller than 20, we host Creamery Tours on Wednesdays at 3pm. Please click here to purchase your tickets.
