Every August Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab holds
a “Scholarship Day” to bring
together community support to their hard-working, college-bound
employees. Doc Burnstein’s turns over the parlour
for a day to its college-bound employees, covering all
operating costs and donating 100% of sales from the day’s
sales to a Scholarship Fund that is distributed among the
eligible employees.
Doc Burnstein’s owners,
Greg Steinberger and Marie Stockwell, always emphasize
the importance of education to their employees. “We
really want to stand behind our commitment to our employees,
and to their education and career goals.”
Doc Burnstein's Fourth Annual Scholarship Day yielded over $4,154, distributed to the college-bound employees.
